Liam Lawson is a talented New Zealand racing driver who has impressed in various motorsport categories, including Formula 2, DTM and Super Formula, showcasing his versatility and adaptability across different racing disciplines. He gained significant attention in 2023 when he made his Formula 1 debut, stepping in for the injured Daniel Ricciardo at AlphaTauri (now RB). Despite limited preparation, Lawson delivered solid performances, quickly adapting to the demands of F1.
In 2024, Lawson returned to F1 action for the final six races of the season, once again replacing Ricciardo
