To ensure you don't have any worries during the race weekend and can focus on what's happening on the track, we have some practical tips for you.
You cannot bring food or drink with you. But you don't need to worry about going without food and drink during the race weekend. Plenty of food stalls in the stands and fan zones offer the traditional range of fast food and food trucks with an extended menu. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages can be purchased. There are also drinking water stations around the spectator areas, which are free of charge.
Before you head out on the circuit, ensure you have all the information you need saved on your phone, from tickets to maps to information about your favourite riders. Especially on Sundays, there's a risk that the mobile network will be overloaded at the Circuit Zandvoort, and you won't be able to download mobile data.
Think about the fact that you may not be able to reach your friends. If you want to meet anyone on Sunday, always arrange a time and place to meet beforehand, just like in the old days when there were no cell phones.
Remember that motorsport is very noisy. While the noise is tolerable in the regular stands, wear earplugs if you're closer to the track. If you're travelling with children, ensure you leave them with headphones.
The weather in the Netherlands is delightful in summer, with temperatures usually around 25 degrees. But it always depends on the specific forecast. After all, Zandvoort is right on the seashore. We recommend bringing a raincoat and a head covering against the sun. Remember that there is often a strong wind blowing in from the sea, so pack a jacket.
